Kristan Rutski (Acupuncture / Massage)
Kristan joined the Free Range Health team of providers in 2014. She is a licensed East Asian Medicine Practitioner and a licensed Massage Practitioner in Washington State.
Having learned firsthand the healing benefits of acupuncture after a climbing accident, Kristan wanted to pay it forward. She received her Masters of Science in Acupuncture degree and completed the Chinese Herbal Certification Program at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. There she learned not only why acupuncture helped heal her hand and arm post-accident, but how she could put her newly learned skills into practice.
Aside from working with patients to help relieve physical pain, Kristan also has experience working with fertility issues and with those who suffer with addiction. She completed her National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) certification where she learned specific ways to help alleviate cravings and detoxify affected organs.
Kristan found she really enjoyed working in community-style Eastern medicine. So when she met Cole, she was immediately intrigued by the model of his business idea: working with groups of people with less access to medicinal resources.
I've been inspired by watching people over time, as they get more treatments, and how their bodies automatically go into a place of relaxation and acceptance.

Kristan really enjoys hiking and even though she doesn't currently have a pet, she will often "borrow" her friends' dogs (with their permission of course!) to take them on scenic outdoor treks. She also loves cooking and making jewelry for fun!
You can find Kristan providing acupuncture at our Lynnwood Senior Center clinic on Mondays and our Stillaguamish Senior Center clinic on Wednesdays. She also provides massage services at our Mountlake Terrace Senior Center clinic Friday mornings.
